Officer Cadets & Day Scholars

KDU offers a range of scholarships to students who excel in their academic activities and extracurricular activities. Those who possess national or international-level sports achievements are eligible for scholarships up to 50% of the course fee. Being a Defence university, KDU provides 50% scholarships for students whose parents served in the armed forces for a certain period with unblemished service. Recently, KDU has introduced a new scholarship scheme where, if your island rank is between 1 -10 you are given a 100% course fee waiver to study free at KDU. Once you enter the university, if you excel in your academic activities, you can be included in the dean’s list or vice chancellor’s list, where you will get a 25% or 50% course fee waiver in the given year.
