Visit of The Defence Attache of Republic of Senegal

The Military, Naval and Air Force Attaché of the Republic of Senegal based in India, accredited to Sri Lanka, Colonel Abdoulaye Traore called on the Vice Chancellor of KDU, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP at KDU on 06^th February 2023.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor discussed the possibility of strengthening relationship between KDU and the Defence Forces of Senegal. Further, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the modern facilities available at KDU to enhance student learning.

Then, Colonel Abdoulaye Traore visited the Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies (FDSS) and met Six Senegal Officer Cadets in the conference hall of FDSS.

Foreign Officer Cadets of Republic of Senegal were first enlisted in Intake 36 in 2019. Currently, KDU hosts a number of Officer Cadets from the Republic of Senegal.
