FOC Student wins Gold medal at the Sahasak Nimawum 2021

The Sri Lanka Inventors Commission of the Ministry of Education sponsored the “Sahasak Nimawum – 2021” National Inventions and Innovations Competition, which was held on October 26, 2022, in conjunction with Sri Lanka Inventors Day. The Faculty of Computing’s Computer Science Stream Intake 37 Cadet Officer EMNMR Edirisinghe won the gold medal award under University and Tertiary Institution category.
He won this medal for his “Distance Channeling System” invention, which falls under the technical category of medicine and pharmacy. On behalf of the entire university, we applaud his achievement and wish him a bright future with more inventions bringing further glory to the faculty and KDU.
