KDU and Vineyard Education to Partner for Joint Ventures
A delegation from the Vineyard Education visited General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 20th January 2023. Vineyard Education assists developing markets in Asia, the Middle East and Africa to offer world-class education by setting up schools, colleges, and institutes while partnering with the best education providers in Canada, the US, and the UK.
Vice Chancellor Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil (Ind) welcomed the delegation, which included its Chairman and Founder Dr Alias Jacob. The aim of the visit was to explore the possibility of collaborating on several projects, including recruiting international students to KDU.
During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to promote cooperation and collaboration. Parties also discussed the potential for establishing educational programs for international students and undertaking international joint ventures.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Defence & Admin), Dean Faculty of Medicine, Dean Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Dean Faculty of Computing, Director International Relations, Director Centre for IT Support and Development Services, Registrar and Bursar from KDU were present on the occasion with the Vice Chancellor Major General Milinda Peiris.
