Farewell Dinner for the Outgoing Vice Chancellor
A dinner night was offered to bid farewell to the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Major General Milinda Peiris, RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, on 31st August 2023 at the Cadet Mess, KDU.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Defence and Administration) Brigadier Chinthaka Wickramasinghe delivered a speech in appreciation of the valuable service of the outgoing Vice Chancellor. Later the outgoing Vice Chancellor Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil made an insightful speech and a memento was handed over to him. KDU wishes good luck in all the future endeavors of the outgoing Vice Chancellor.
The incoming Vice Chancellor Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara VSV USP psc MMaritimePol BSc (DS), Rector Southern Campus, Rector Metropolitan Campus, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Defence and Administration), Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Deans, Directors, and Academic Staff also participated in this memorable event.
